Description

Here at Chalet Fourmiliere we offer our guests the best home from home country house experience in the Alps.  Our farmhouse was built over two-hundred years ago and has now been fully re-imagined for the ultimate in luxurious comfort.  Six bedrooms, all ensuite, accommodate a maximum of fifteen guests.  We are located in Morzine, the beautiful French alpine resort in the heart of the sunny Portes du Soleil.

We are looking to recruit four new team members -exceptional hosts/drivers/maintenance people to work alongside our Michelin trained chef.

When it comes to hospitality, we are looking for the best of the best - highly motivated team players who will make our guest experience exceptional by consistently going the extra mile. We want a diverse, flexible team, who enjoy working with, and for, interesting people, have excellent attention to detail, lots of energy, and, if you’ve got a touch of OCD, even better!

We are an owner run business, with only one chalet to focus on. We live on site, in our own loft apartment and are very much part of the Fourmiliere experience. We relocated from the UK five years ago and have built the Fourmiliere brand into something we are very proud of.  We’ve had some great press, notably features in Conde Nast Traveller and as one of Tatler’s most ‘glamorous chalets’, as well as having an excellent Trip Advisor rating and nominations for Travellers Choice Awards.

Previous experience of hosting, or work within the catering/hospitality industry would be an advantage although not essential as full, comprehensive training will be given.  A willingness to learn, flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a team is, however, essential.

Chalet hosting is a role that requires a variety of skills, but first and foremost we are looking for confident, well-presented individuals with warm, friendly personalities, a joie de vivre, energy and a desire to be the best! When driving you will be responsible for guests in our vintage Land Rover Defender, fondly nick named ‘The Baron’.  The safety of our guests and team is paramount so we need team members to be confident drivers in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Driving guests safely, and comfortably, to and from ski lifts, restaurants, shops etc
- Loading and unloading guest skis / boards etc onto the Baron and returning all equipment to the bootroom at the end of the day

Your package of benefits will include:
